Strong Woman is a song I wrote about turning into a strong woman once surviving a toxic relationship. Never wanting to be in a place where people walk over you or take advantage of you because you're kind and not very strong willed. It's about a woman who has finally learned to stand up for themselves and set boundaries to how she is to be treated. This is of course drawn from my own life but I really wanted woman from all walks of life to be able to gain something from this song, whether that is the feeling of knowing they are not alone or help build that confidence, so I drew from what I saw around me, domestic violence being one of those things, hence the second verse. I have my first magazine feature!! A music magazine reached out to interview me about my music! It's called Indiefferential and they did me a nice full page spread, I'm so excited!
